Obituary for Ethel Bernice Engle (McKinney)

Ethel Bernice Engle, 85, of Hedgesville, WV received her angel wings on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Willow Tree Nursing Facility in Charles Town, WV under the care of Hospice.

Born July 18, 1930 in Summersville, WV to William and Maggie Cantrell McKinney.

She leaves behind one daughter, Patricia Burt; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Christopher Painter; two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Kennedy Painter which were her pride and joy; several nieces, and nephews; two brothers, Donald McKinney of Harpers Ferry, and Hubbard (Bud) McKinney of Richwoods, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Engle; one daughter, Belinda Jean; two sisters, Anna Mae and Thelma McKinney; brothers, Waitman (John), Okey, Emory, and Russell McKinney.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Morgan Co.
