Obituary for Rex A. Nicholas

Rex A. Nicholas, 66, of Kearneysville, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at his residence.

Born on March 24, 1949, in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Leona Jean Wimer Nicholas of Baltimore, MD and the late Paul Beard Nicholas.

He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a security officer at the Hollywood Casino and Slots in Charles Town.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anita Louise Wamsley Nicholas; one son, Anthony Brooks Nicholas; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicholas and Fisher Fraddosio; and two brothers, Hurley Nicholas and wife, Mary and Nick Nicholas and wife, Sue.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert A. Nicholas.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at South Berkeley Chapel.

Celebration of life service with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor William McCallister officiating.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2102 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, WV 25311.
