Obituary for Ella Mae Yontz (Lamp)

Ella Mae Yontz, 90, Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Broadmore Memory Care at Hagerstown.
Born on June 1, 1924 in Berkeley County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Clara DeHaven Lamp.
She was a member of Winchester Avenue Christian Church; and was retired, but had previously worked with Dr. Richard McCune as an office administrator for over 25 years. Ella Mae was an avid window shopper.
She was a loving wife and mother, and is survived by her son, Douglas G. Yontz, Jr., Martinsburg; her daughter, Karen S. Harris, Circleville, Ohio; grandchildren, Ian Matthew, Colin Richard, and Breanne Nicole; one great-grandchild, Kiersten Hall; and a number of nieces and nephews; and her caregiver and dear friend, Evelyn McElvoy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas G. Yontz, Sr. January 3, 2001.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the
Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00AM at Winchester Avenue Christian Church with Rev. Benjamin Manning officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Winchester Avenue Christian Church, 400 Winchester Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
