Obituary for Paul Wayner Irvin

Paul Wayner Irvin, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born October 15, 1936 in Jonesboro, Louisiana he was the son of the late Walter Washington and Carmon Weeks Irvin.

He was a retired Major with the US Air Force. He was a proud alumnus of LSU and the University of Southern Mississippi.

He attended Independent Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Gibson Irvin; two sons, David Irvin of Martinsburg, Christopher Irvin and wife, Angela of Eagle River, Alaska; three grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, and Henry Irvin.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating, assisted by Pastor Don Smith. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 4:00PM prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Berkeley County Humane Society.
