Essie C. "Mammaw"  Quaglio (Chinto)
Essie C. Quaglio, 94, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 1, 2014 surrounded by her dear family.

Born October 18, 1919, in Dargan, MD, she was the daughter of the late Bassie Chinto and Martha Jamison Chinto.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed at Patterson Drug Store for over 45 years.

Essie "Mammaw" was known for loving her family and will be greatly missed by them.

She is survived by two daughters, Tina Gunnoe and husband Phillip of Martinsburg, Becky Hilliard and husband Larry of Martinsburg; three grandchildren, Monica Turner, Katie Brinkley and husband Jimmy, Doug Hilliard and wife Karla; five great grandchildren, Dominic and Amelia Brinkley, Adeline and Lillian Hilliard, Alyson Turner; and a special niece, Janice Pittsnogle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Quaglio, a granddaughter, Christina Hilliard, and a sister, Frances Otzelberger.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be said 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Francisco Cruz as celebrant. Interment will be held in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Panhandle Home Health 208 Old Mill Road, Martinsburg, WV 25401 or to Meals on Wheels 116 East King Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
