E. Joyce Nagley Unger, 94, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence.
Born January 14, 1919 in Frederick County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Thomas Nagley and Ivy Caroline (Kerns) Nagley.
She was employed in the payroll department at Interwoven Mills and was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
She as a 1937 graduate of Martinsburg High School and later attended business school for two years.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Anne (Garrette) Hull of Martinsburg; two step-daughters, Norma Jean Hudson of Delaware, and Beverly Gaile Harden of Arizona; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard O. Unger, who passed away on July 7, 2001; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Max R., David Howard, and Sylvester R. Nagley; and one sister, Alverna Hilda Nagley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John Yost officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
