Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know Mr. Quenzel is in a better place and in no more pain. He fought a long hard battle. I will always remember him with his beautiful silver hair and smile. I enjoyed meeting him both at City Hospital and at our restaurant -- Rebecca's.

Condolence: Dave, JR and Family, Words can't express how sad I am for your loss. I have known Mr. Quenzel since he and my dad worked together at the race track (1970's) and then years later I became one of his and Dave's students for many years. He taught me so much that carried on through my adult life and to just be a strong person. I will forever miss his smile and laugh. I know he is not suffering any longer and is now at peace with our Lord. God Bless your family through this difficult time and know that he is there as your strength:):) Your Friend...... Michelle

Condolence: Mr. Quenzel was very respected around the area. My family always went to the Holiday Inn on Sunday after church. He was normally there and my grandmother Mary Isenberg and I used to see him at RiteAid plaza on Winchester Ave. She always remarked on his handsome gray hair. I also went to Highschool with Eli and my sympathy goes to all.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Grand Master's family and friends. I was a student in the early 90's. Through karate, even though I didn't show it then I learned discipline, respect, and true friendship. When my mom died, he was the first one to sign her guestbook, and which was a good thing because he signed his name so big that I don't think it would have fit on any of the lines below. He always asked me how I was doing and they were understanding of how I felt and how hard it was during that time. I know how strong he was and it especially showed the day after his son Dave was in a car accident. Grand Master was sad, but he continued with Saturday's class and the months after that until Dave could return. I'll always remember him making us do the duck walk around the room while he quacked at us. I'm extremely grateful to have had him and his family as a part of my life and he will never be forgotten.
