Linda M. Ingle, 58, of Summit Point, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at her home.



Born September 27, 1950 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Hicks, Sr., and Diana Syer Hicks Branch.



She is survived by two daughters, Laurie N. Bailey and Angela Ingle, both of Summit Point; one grandson, Jeffrey Scott Bailey, Jr., three brothers, Floyd Hicks,Jr., of Summit Point, Michael Hicks, of Berkeley Springs, and Peter Hicks, of Lebanon, VA; three sisters, Elaine V. Ingle, of Mechanicsville, MD, Patricia Snead, of Miami, FL, and Bertha “Sissy” Hicks, Culpeper, VA, and a number of nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Ingle and and a son, Stephen Ingle.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Friday, September 18, 2009, at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Inwood with Pastor Tom Hoffmaster officiating. Interment will be at Kennedy Cemetery in Wellsboro, PA.



The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home’s South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
